About Living Nova Scotia

Meet Sean Nykolyshyn, a professional Realtor® with Coldwell Banker Maritime Realty, and Stacey Scott Nykolyshyn, professional coach, the partners in business and life who founded Living Nova Scotia in 2021.

Sean joined the real estate industry in 2005 and has helped countless people make big and small moves in ever-changing buyer and seller markets. He holds three specialty designations and enjoys working with first-time home buyers, seniors in transition and professionals who want to make GREEN choices.

He discovered Nova Scotia in 2018 (his wife Stacey’s family roots were planted here 12 generations ago and run well over a meter deep in the Annapolis Valley… wine country!). On that first trip to the East Coast, he learned that his four grandparents immigrated to Canada through Pier 21 in Halifax. Sean was raised in Ontario and Manitoba knowing the importance of his Ukrainian Canadian heritage, which came to life through his family’s community involvement and in the kitchen, the heart of any home.

Collectively, Sean and Stacey have bought and sold five principal residences, managed extensive renovations of two heritage homes, and made six cross-Canada moves. They have lived in small rural towns, mid-sized and major cities, bedroom communities, high-rise condos, and industrial lofts in up-and-coming neighbourhoods like Halifax’s North End.

These personal experiences, coupled with extensive professional knowledge, mean we have and will share insights to help you make your next move as smooth and stress-less as possible, wherever that might be!
